E-Scooter Rider In Critical Condition After Crash With B35 Bus | Brooklyn, NY Patch

BROOKLYN, NY — An electric scooter rider collided with an MTA bus on Sunday in Brownsville and is in critical condition, New York City Police Department officials said.

According to the NYPD, the 44-year-old man was riding a Hover scooter eastbound on Linden Boulevard when he collided with a B35 bus just after 2:30 p.m. traveling southbound on Church Avenue.

The man was taken to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center in critical condition, police said. The bus operator, a 35-year-old man, remained on the scene and wasn't injured, police said.

The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation, NYPD officials said.
